Why your dog is as important to your health

If, like me, animal lover, then you may already know; having a pet is really good for your health. Very good, indeed!

- Boost your mood,

This may seem obvious, since everything is very attached to our dogs, but they are significant boost mood! If you only take 15 minutes of your day playing with your dog, research has shown that the more happy feeling for the rest of the day. Many people will acknowledge the fact that they play with their dogs for a lot longer, too. Research has also shown that dogs provide company on the same level as human society.

- Forget medicine!

The British Journal of Health has conducted studies that found people with dogs were far healthier than non average. Dog owners have less cholesterol and heart attacks. In addition, on average, took less medication and had fewer medical problems. Which brings me to the next point ...

- Dogs that are kept in motion,

Your dog invites you to exercise and stay fit. If you have a large dog means you have to walk at least once a day. Therefore, dog owners tend to be healthier and fitter than non-dog owners.

- introverted extrovert,

Dogs tenfold sociability. It has been shown that dogs are more accessible and more social. Even they help people overcome shyness. All this contributes to a healthier and happier life.

- Stress relievers,

Picture the scene: It's been a long day of work. You are tired. You're frustrated. You need to relax. Some of us sit down and turn on the TV. But those of us with dogs find solace in the four-legged friends. Dogs have been shown to provide if needed stress relief to their owners. They are the ultimate owners to help relieve stress and feel calmer.
