Depending on how kittens are brought up, they differ in personalities. Those that are raised by people are affectionate, friendly and rely on people than their mothers. Those raised by their mothers are not as friendly and can be aggressive when touched. They usually operate on their own and hunt without help of a person nor their mothers.

In the event that the mother dies when kittens are young, special care should be provided to the kittens left behind. Since they still require milk in order to get necessary nutrients one has to look for a good source of milk for the kitten. Cow milk is not advisable since it does not contain necessary nutrients they need. The kittens are prone to diseases and infections if not properly taken care of at this point in their life.

If not fed properly, they suffer underweight. This triggers them to develop health problems in future. Therefore, they require best nutrition, training and vaccination done at their early age.
